ICTS Cyprus: contracts with top international air carriers

Top international air carriers have selected ICTS Cyprus for the provision of quality security services in view of the high-peak tourist season.

The Cypriot subsidiary of ICTS Europe, European leader in aviation security, has been re-contracted by Emirates, Aegean Airlines and Blue Air for theprovisionof guarding services; aircraft access control, baggage screening; escort of valuable items and check-in supervising in Larnana Airport. Contracts with Aegean Airlines and Blue Air also include high-risk flights to Tel Aviv, given ICTS’ working experience in these flights with the Israeli air carrier El Al in airports of Italy and Greece. For the above airline services ICTS Cyprus has signed with Rossiya Airlines which has scheduled 50 flights per week from airports of Larnaka and Pafos throughout the high season. For the same period ICTS Cyprus offers high-risk flights services to TUS και LOT airlines.

These contracts come as a further development of ICTS Cyprus’ partnerships with the Department of Civil Aviation and Hermes Airports. Since 2011 the company has been rendering security services at Passengers Terminal in Larnaca International Airport as well as at Short Term and Long Term Parking of Pafos International Airport. At present it has been contracted by the Civil Aviation Department to provide access and boarding pass control and passenger physical search and screening facilitation at checkpoints of Pafos International Airport.

ICTS Cyprus has also been selected by the Civil Aviation Department and the Cypriot Police for the X-ray screening training of police screeners at both Cyprus’ international airports, through the “Eagle” computer platform which has been developed by ICTS Europe and has been trained more than 18.000 screeners internationally in accordance with the EU standards.
