ICTS Cyprus strengthens its leading position in aviation and maritime security

ICTS Cyprus strengthens its successful presence in Aviation and Maritime security market by establishing new partnerships with major airlines and port organizations.

New contracts with international air carriers

New contracts with airlines such as COBALT, BlueBird and Ryanair confirm ICTS Cyprus’ leading position in aviation security and especially the outbound flights to Tel Aviv. These partnerships come to expand its well established aviation security clientele in Cyprus, which is consisted of major airlines of HERMES AIRPORTS such as AEGEAN AIRLINES, ROSSIYA, EMIRATES BLUE AIR and TUS, coupled with security services provided at the international airport of Pafos.

DP World selects ICTS Cyprus as its security provider at the Port of Limassol

The Cypriot subsidiary of ICTS Europe has signed a brand-new contract with DP World for the provision of security services at Limassol Port, the major port in Cyprus. Dubai Ports is the world’s leading port operator, managing over 30 port terminals around the globe. In 2016 DP was granted a 25-year concession for the exclusive right to operate Limassol Port’s multipurpose terminal. Starting from 28th January ICTS Cyprus will be responsible for the provision of security services, including access control, guarding and vehicle patrol, as well as consultancy services for the provision of CCTV, alarms and the Port’s Control Centre. Moreover ICTS will design and implement additional security measures for a new cruise passenger terminal which is under construction at the Limassol Port. To this end ICTS will draw expertise from its vast experience in cruise terminal projects that runs for years now, such as the ones in Greek Piraeus and Italian Venice Ports.

ICTS Cyprus has also been contracted by the Cyprus Ports Authority to carry out Security Risk Assessments for all Port Facilities at Limassol, following the successful ISPS code Consultancy services provided to VTT Vasiliκos oil and gas terminal the previous years.
