Air Canada is the first overseas airline to offer a transatlantic passenger service from Dublin Airport since the start of the pandemic

20 July 2020

During the month of July, Air Canada will operate three weekly flights from Dublin to Toronto Airport. The airline aims to return to a daily schedule from August 2020. ICTS is Air Canada’s security partner and in addition to the usual provision of aviation security services, ICTS is responsible for checking the temperature of passengers at the terminal gate.

“Flight AC843 on 2 July 2020 was the first transatlantic passenger service from Dublin, operated by a foreign airline since the start of the pandemic. Our Security Teams are working hand in hand with the airport and the airlines ensuring that all new measures, reflecting both Ireland’s national COVID-19 guidelines and the recent guidelines developed by the European Aviation Safety Agency and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, support the safe return of the aviation sector”, said Graham Clare, ICTS Station Manager at Dublin Airport.
