A.S.P. Security Services awarded the security services contract ahead of the Toronto 2015 Pan and Parapan American Games

A.S.P. Security Services, ICTS Europe’s Canadian subsidiary, has been awarded the security services contract for the newly constructed Toronto Pan American Sports Centre (TPASC) located in Scarborough, Ontario in Canada. The contract commenced on 15 July, 2014 and will see A.S.P. providing access control services, security patrol services and sports event security for many Pan American competitions.

TPASC is a state-of-the-art multi-use sport and fitness building, built to host the Pan American and Parapan American Games in the summer of 2015. It is anticipated that the 2016 Olympic swim trials will be held at the facility, as well as many other qualifying and training events. The facility has first-class training facilities that include two 50m swimming pools, one 25m dive-tank with multiple diving platforms, four gymnasiums, three multi-purpose studios, a sports medicine clinic, changing rooms, meeting rooms, offices and retail food outlets etc.

Around 7,000 athletes are expected to take part in the 2015 Pan American Games, making it the world’s third largest international multi-sport Games.
