DiagNose Netherlands, ICTS Europe’s Dutch subsidiary for the provision of canine security services, signed a new contract with Swissport International Ltd. The contract is for provision of Remote Explosives Scent Tracing (REST) services and free-running dogs at two cargo locations at Schiphol Airport.
The REST method makes it possible to screen high volumes of cargo, regardless of shipment size, shape, volume or density. It combines high detection rate with cost effectiveness and is the perfect solution for mass screening of cargo and vehicles. The ‘free running dog’ method, also known as ‘sniffer dogs’, is one of the most effective ways to detect explosives. The dogs can screen cargo, vehicles, public areas, checkpoints, unattended objects and people.
Swissport Cargo Services The Netherlands B.V. is part of Swissport International AG with headquarters based in Opfikon, Switzerland. Swissport operates at more than 300 airports, across 50 countries, with more than 66,000 employees. In 2019, Swissport handled about 310.000 tons of airfreight from their warehouse terminals at Schiphol Airport.
DiagNose Netherlands was established in 2007 and since then has built up a solid client base, including Schiphol Airport, KLM, UPS, Menzies and DNATA.
