First Serviceman joins ICTS Europe’s UK subsidiary under the Military START Program

12 December 2013

ICTS UK Military Service Transition Advice and Resettlement Training (START) program, aimed at helping injured and able-bodied Servicemen and women’s transition into civilian employment upon leaving the British military, recruits a first Serviceman.

“John joins ICTS following 5 years with the Army that included two tours of duty in Afghanistan. An ICTS Military START visit at Manchester Airport, UK, allowed him to see at firsthand what ICTS does and he was immediately interested in our line of work.

John has initially joined ICTS under a work placement scheme that will allow him to receive on-the-job training and further familiarize himself with ICTS operations. John will roll straight into full employment with ICTS in the New Year, following his release from the Army. Within the first 6 months of employment ICTS will also train John on a DfT Level One course, to make him cross employable and able to work at Manchester Airport” stated Scott Paterson, ICTS UK Military START Program Manager.
