Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority contracts ICTS Hellas for the security at Heraklion Airport

ICTS Hellas has been appointed by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) for the provision of security services at Heraklion Airport in Crete.

ICTS is responsible for the provision of the following services: security and access control of persons, vehicles, hold baggage, transported items, cargo and mail, flight and airport supplies, as well as guarding of the airport facilities. This new contract commenced on 1 November 2017 and employees 100 security agents during the off-season period and will employ over 310 during the peak, summer season. Heraklion Airport, known as Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport, is the second largest airport in Greece. Approximately 5,7 million international passengers and over 1 million domestic passengers used the airport in 2016.
