ICTS Albania appointed by the Albanian Government as chief trainer and auditor for the Nation’s seaports

23 March 2015

ICTS Albania has been awarded the 5 year contract for the provision of auditing and training services to Albania’s ports. ICTS Albania will be responsible for ensuring that the Nation’s five ports deliver maritime security services in compliance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code of Practice.

“In the Autumn of 2014, the Albanian Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure awarded ICTS Albania RSO (Recognised Security Organisation) status for the maritime sector, making ICTS Albania the only security provider in Albania at the time, licensed to deliver maritime security services in line with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code of Practice.

We are thrilled with this new contract and expansion into the maritime sector” said Panagiotis Fistedis, General Manager, ICTS Albania.
