ICTS Cyprus signs a new contract with the Cyprus Ports Authority

18 January 2021

After a long and complex bidding process, ICTS Cyprus is proud to announce that the Cyprus Ports Authority (CPA) has chosen ICTS as their security partner for the provision of services at the old Limassol Port. The contract is for the provision of a range of security services including access control, patrolling, guarding and CCTV.

“We are delighted to be working with CPA again. In 2016, we were responsible for undertaking a comprehensive ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security) Risk Assessment and for carrying out a port facility security assessment and plan for the entire Limassol Port area. This included the locations operated by private contractors and State CPA as well.

The award of this prestigious contract increases our presence at the Port of Limassol, as we already secure the new Limassol Port operated by the private world-renown port operator, DP World. This new contract cements our vision: to be the market leader of security services to Cyprus’ major critical infrastructure” said Panagiotis Fistedis, Managing Director of ICTS Cyprus.

The old Limassol Port has recently been renovated and modernized and turned from a traditional fishing port into an area for entertainment and leisure activities and thus has become one of the most famous and attractive touristic sites of Cyprus.
