Lufthansa has significantly expanded its services from both Frankfurt and Munich International Airports since the beginning of 2021. ICTS Deutschland is pleased to be nominated once more as the airline’s preferred service provider for long-haul destinations from Frankfurt and short-haul destinations from both Frankfurt and Munich International Airports.
Among the long-haul destinations are South Africa, Thailand, Brazil, Dubai, Angola and Kenya and among the short-haul destinations are several European locations, including Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Spain, France and Belgium.
“We are delighted to see air traffic building up again and Lufthansa is adding more and more international flight routes. Our teams are doing a great job carrying out their usual tasks as well as ensuring that passengers comply with complex Covid-19 health regulations. During the month of February, our teams serviced 812 flights to a total of 52 different destinations from Frankfurt, and 134 flights to a total of 17 different destinations from Munich”, said Benjamin Cimander Sales & Proposal Manager, ICTS Deutschland.
In order to identify passengers that do not comply with the Covid-19 travel regulations, centralised service points were implemented at Frankfurt (before security check) and at Munich (before check-in and before gate area). These service points provide passengers with an opportunity to apply for the missing paperwork or to take a Rapid-Covid-Test at the airport.
