ICTS Europe helps United Airlines re-launch a new service to Accra, Ghana

9 August 2021

United Airlines recently re-launched a direct flight between its hub at Washington’s Dulles International Airport, USA, and Accra’s Kotoka International Airport, Ghana. Working in close partnership with United Airlines since 1992 and being the airline’s main security partner since 2004, ICTS Europe was there to provide support.

ICTS France worked closely with its local partner in Ghana, Experts Associés (EAS/APSS), to recruit, train and qualify a dedicated local security team to support the new thrice-weekly flight. The new team will provide enhanced security services according to TSA regulations under a 3-year contract that commenced in May 2021.

EAS has been ICTS Europe’s strategic partner in Africa for over 15 years. “We have worked with EAS on several projects across Africa since the start of our partnership. One of the projects was back in 2010, when United launched for the very first time a non-stop service to Accra. Together, we are honoured to assist United again. We look forward to supporting United’s expansion into the African continent”, said Amir Weisblat, Commercial Manager, ICTS France.
