1 September 2014

Milan’s Malpensa airport experienced increased passenger volumes this summer, as flights were diverted from Bergamo airport, which was undergoing refurbishment.  ICTS Italy, ICTS Europe’s Italian subsidiary, was awarded the contract for the provision of x-ray operators at check points.

“The contract was initially to run from the middle of May 2014, for just under a month, the duration of the refurbishment of Bergamo airport. We were pleased to hear that the contract is to be extended until the end of November 2014. Our newly formed team has been trained using our Eagle computer based training system and are doing a good job at maintaining optimal passenger flows” said Ayelet Hirsh, General Manager, ICTS Italy.
