Hermes Airports Limited has awarded ICTS Cyprus the security services contract at the two international airports of Larnaca and Pafos. This follows the recent privatization of Cyprus’ aviation security services by the State Police. Over 400 ICTS personnel are based at these airports, securing the busy transport hubs where the passenger numbers exceed 9.5 million.
Panagiotis Fistedis, Managing Director of ICTS in Cyprus said, “2017 so far, has been an unprecedented year for business growth in Cyprus. Earlier in the year we commenced a significant new maritime security contract with DP World and we are now delighted with this expansion at Larnaca and Pafos airports.
We have been building our reputation as security specialists in Cyprus, since 2010, working with airlines such as Emirates, Aegean, Rossiya, Qatar Air and Ryanair, as well as with the Department of Civil Aviation and Hermes Airports on various projects. We are now well positioned and look forward to a continued period of growth, as leaders in the field.”
