ICTS SmartApp cuts check-in times, promoting the passenger experience

ICTS Europe Systems is delighted to announce that Hermes Airports has made the ICTS SmartApp self-service check-in kiosks available to TUI passengers at Paphos International Airport in Cyprus. The successful launch of the newly implemented system took place on 10 October 2019.

“The volume of passengers, especially of groups, is high at Paphos airport. Groups tend to arrive at the same time which can cause congestion at multiple points throughout the passengers’ journey through the airport. ICTS’ SmartApp offers an efficient solution to manage the swift processing of passengers” said Panagiotis Fistedis, Managing Director, ICTS Cyprus. 

Meeting passengers’ expectations is at the top of Hermes, TUI’s and ICTS’ service priorities. With the increased demand for technology playing an ever-growing part in the customers’ journey, the SmartApp enables TUI to take control of airport check-in and charges, offering a quick and easy check-in process. The app also allows passengers who have already checked-in to print their bag tags and drop their bags off.

SmartApp not only aids a more efficient operation, but also offers a reduction of costs, especially when check-in counters at airports are limited.
