ICTS teams around London get together and raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support

8 February 2016

Last month, the ICTS team at London Heathrow Airport got together with local businesses and our nearby teams at LHR Cargo, Heathrow Express and East Berkshire College to raise funds in support of Macmillian nurses based at a local London hospital. Macmillan distribute, every year,  hundreds of toiletry packs to patients who get rushed into hospital.

Thanks to this initiative, in addition to 100 toiletry packs, ICTS was able to also donate two iPads that would aid communication between patients undergoing treatment and their families and friends.

“Our Corporate Social Responsibility agenda is very much part of the Company’s ethos. Not only are charity events an opportunity to do good in our local and wider community, but they are also a valuable opportunity to bring colleagues closer and to create a sense of community both within our organisation and the local area” said Ashley Bancroft, Managing Director, ICTS UK & Ireland.
