12 October 2015

ICTS Hellas, ICTS Europe’s Greek subsidiary, has been awarded the 2-year contract for the provision of security services for cruise ships docking at Piraeus’ Central Port. Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) has given ICTS Hellas full responsibility for the security screening of cruise passengers and crew, as well as hand-luggage, baggage, cargo and post at Piraeus’ International Passenger Port Terminal.

The Port of Piraeus is the largest seaport in Greece; in 2014, the Port welcomed over 600 cruise ships and over a million passengers.

“The PPA has demonstrated their confidence in our services by entrusting us with the security operation at Greece’s main port. We look forward to contributing to PPA’s strategic objective to become the primary hub for cruise shipping in the Mediterranean”, said Mr Panagiotis Kambouroglou, CEO, ICTS Hellas. ICTS Hellas is a leading maritime security provider in Greece, operating in 17 ports throughout the country.
