Supporting Delta’s Day of Hope in aid of the American Cancer Society

13 July 2015

During the month of May, ICTS staff members at various locations around Europe joined in Delta Air Lines fundraising activities in aid of the American Cancer Society.

The ICTS teams in London, Frankfurt, Madrid, Athens and Rome were among those that took part in the fundraising events. The support given was different at each airport.

ICTS UK at London Heathrow Airport donated an afternoon tea for four at the famous London Ritz Hotel; in Athens and in Frankfurt, ICTS Hellas and ICTS Deutschland respectively, exchanged their uniforms for purple t-shirts and airport staff and passengers were encouraged to make donations in support of the cancer charity.

“It was a fun and rewarding day for us all at Frankfurt and a valuable opportunity to support a good cause. A total of €1,100 was raised on the day at Frankfurt” said Marina Casado Criado, Station Manager, ICTS Deutschland.

ICTS Hispania and ICTS Italy’s check-in and security staff joined Delta colleagues in various dance and ‘flash mob’ performances at Madrid and Rome Fiumicino Airport. In Madrid additional security staff were provided to oversee the smooth running of the main fundraising event that took place in one of the main airport lounges.

“It has been a great opportunity to join in the fundraising activities and make a difference to this worthy cause. It is important for ICTS to strengthen its ties with its employees and its teams, and it is exactly events such as these that allow for some fun and an opportunity to get to know your colleagues a little better. Many congratulations to Delta Air Lines for the initiative that we were pleased to support” said Ronen Remetz, EVP, ICTS Europe.
