On 20 September 2023, Hainan Airlines, an airline of the People’s Republic of China, launched its first direct flight from Milan Malpensa Airport to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. ICTS Italy is responsible for the provision of security services to the airline’s three weekly direct flights.

“We are delighted at the opportunity to expand our business with Hainan Airlines. We have been securing Hainan Airlines at Rome Fiumicino Airport since 2015 and are very pleased to have been selected as their security partner at Milan as well”, said Monica Salomoni, Operations Manager, ICTS Italy.

The ICTS Europe Group also provides aviation security services to Hainan Airlines at Berlin, Madrid, Dublin, Edinburgh, London Heathrow and Manchester Airports.
