Germany

Background
EcoVadis is one of the world's leading platforms for corporate sustainability assessment, evaluating more than 130,000 companies across 175 countries annually using a standardised, scientifically based methodology. Achieving Gold status places a company in the top 5% of all organisations assessed worldwide — a distinction that is earned, not given.
The Achievement
ICTS Protect Germany GmbH has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, valid until April 2027, in recognition of outstanding sustainability management across its operations. The award confirms that ICTS Protect Germany does not merely talk about sustainability — it lives it.
How It Was Assessed
The EcoVadis assessment is a structured audit process, not a self-declaration. Evidence, policies, and measures were submitted and independently reviewed across four key areas:
Environment — resource conservation, CO₂ reduction, and responsible management of environmental impact
Labour & Human Rights — fair working conditions, health and safety, non-discrimination, and compliance with fundamental labour rights
Ethics — compliance, anti-corruption, transparent business practices, and integrity at all levels
Sustainable Procurement — responsible sourcing practices and supply chain transparency
The Team Behind the Award
This achievement was the result of collective effort. Special recognition goes to Konstantin Fahl and the Quality Management team led by Oliver Roeder, whose meticulous documentation and evidence preparation were central to the outcome. Contributions from central procurement, strategic project management, compliance, and branch leadership all played a role. As the team put it — sustainability is not a task for one, it is teamwork.
What It Means
The EcoVadis Gold Medal is not a product certification — it validates the quality of ICTS Protect Germany's management system and its overall approach to sustainability as a business. For clients, particularly those in critical infrastructure, public authorities, and industry, it provides concrete assurance that they are working with a partner who meets the highest sustainability standards in tendering and procurement processes.
Looking Ahead
The award is reassessed annually and must be actively maintained. ICTS Protect Germany's corporate strategy to 2030 anchors sustainability across all four business areas — ICTS Protect, LogiSec, ProTech, and Academy — making this Gold Medal not an endpoint, but a foundation to build on.

Security Services

A role in security is not a stepping-stone to something better -sometimes it is the foundation-stone careers are built upon. At ASP, officers in working complex, high-stakes environments that demand discipline, sound judgment, cultural fluency, and an instinct for public safety. These are the same qualities that define an excellent police officer.
ASP celebrates this pathway - not because security is a lesser calling that leads somewhere greater, but because it is a professional launchpad of the highest order. The officers profiled here earned recognition on the floor before they ever wore a police badge.

Every summer brings its own rhythm — new routes, returning carriers, familiar faces at new and existing seasonal stations. But summer 2026 has been something different. The scale of what our teams have delivered across Europe this season is something I want to take a moment to acknowledge.
American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines together account for over 21,300 flights this summer, supported by ICTS Europe across 26 stations in 15 countries, handling over 130 seasonal services. Behind every one of those flights is a team that prepared, trained, adapted, and delivered.
New offices were opened, new teams were built from the ground up, and new partnerships formed — with Alaska Airlines making its European debut, with ICTS Europe at Rome Fiumicino, London Heathrow, and Keflavík. JetBlue, WestJet, Aeromexico, and other carriers further contributed to what has been an exceptionally active season.
What makes me most proud is not the numbers — it is the people. Every audit passed, every inaugural flight supported, every note of appreciation received from our airline partners this season is a reflection of the dedication and professionalism of our colleagues across the continent.
This newsletter tells many of those stories — I hope you enjoy reading them.

ICTS Europe is pleased to announce that American Airlines has selected ICTS Europe to provide enhanced security services for two new daily flights connecting Philadelphia (PHL) with Budapest (BUD) and Prague (PRG) Airports, both inaugurated on May 23 — marking the return of routes last served in 2019.
The addition of these two destinations brings the total number of American Airlines locations supported by ICTS Europe across the region to 18, further consolidating a growing and valued partnership.
"Watching the first American Airlines flights from Philadelphia touch down in Prague and Budapest was a moment we had all been waiting for — the big comeback after a forced break is finally a reality. Implementing stringent U.S. safety standards simultaneously in two countries is no small challenge, but our teams rose to the occasion magnificently.
A special word of thanks goes to our two colleagues from CTSN who joined us in Prague — their professionalism and support during the first week of operations made a real difference. Welcome back to Prague and Budapest, American Airlines, and a big thank you to everyone involved for a perfect start," said Erik Just, General Manager Czech Republic & Hungary, ICTS Europe.
The new routes form part of a broader expansion of American Airlines' European operations for the summer 2026 season, introducing a number of new and returning services. Among them, new daily seasonal flights from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) now serve Athens and Zurich, while Edinburgh welcomes a brand new transatlantic connection from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
Further new services include a nonstop connection from Miami (MIA) to Milan (MXP), alongside the returning seasonal service from Philadelphia (PHL) to Edinburgh. The summer season also sees the return of seasonal flights to Naples, Dublin, Venice, and Copenhagen, complementing the year-round operations ICTS Europe already supports.
Ronen Remetz, EVP of ICTS Europe, reflected on the summer programme: "Supporting American Airlines across more than 30 routes and 5,600 flights with a 1,000 operatives, in a single summer season is a testament to the operational depth and dedication of our teams on the ground. It is also particularly meaningful to see Budapest and Prague back on the map — routes that we are glad to see restored. The combination of new services and returning routes this season is a reflection of a partnership that keeps moving forward — and that is something we find genuinely exciting."

ICTS Europe is proud to announce the addition of two new locations to its Delta Air Lines operations this summer — Porto Airport and Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, both serving new seasonal routes to New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport. For the ICTS Portugal team in Porto, the addition of Delta Air Lines is an exciting new chapter, enhancing current operations.
In Sardinia, ICTS Italy has opened a new office at Olbia to support the new operation. Shortly after launch, the team achieved a successful TSA audit outcome — a real credit to the brand-new Olbia team who delivered from day one, and to colleagues from across Italy whose support throughout the process was invaluable.
The summer season brings further growth across the existing network and Rome Fiumicino and Nice to Boston. The season also sees the return of seasonal operations at Athens, Catania, Copenhagen, Naples, Nice, Prague, Shannon, and Venice.
"This summer reflects the scope of what we are delivering together with Delta Air Lines — new airports, new routes, and destinations across the continent where ICTS Europe is part of the story. Supporting Delta Air Lines across 28 stations in 15 European countries is something we are genuinely proud of, and we look forward to continuing to grow this partnership together," said Ronen Remetz, EVP of ICTS Europe.

ICTS Europe has been awarded four new security contracts with United Airlines, supporting the carrier's launch of new routes to European destinations.
New services from Newark Liberty International Airport to Bari, Glasgow, and Santiago de Compostela launched between April 30 and May 28. ICTS Europe additionally provides supervision services for the new nonstop route connecting EWR with Split, Croatia, which also got underway on April 30.
Following the launch at SCQ, United Airlines' Corporate Security noted: "I'm especially grateful to have had the opportunity to work alongside our ICTS security service providers throughout this launch. The team's professionalism, expertise, and commitment to operational excellence help make achievements like this possible. They are truly among the best in the business, and their partnership is invaluable to ensuring the safe, secure, and successful operation of new international services."
May has been a busy and rewarding month for ICTS Spain, with operations also getting underway for United Airlines in Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, and Bilbao. The summer season also sees a new daily connection from Reykjavik to Washington Dulles (IAD), alongside seasonal activity across the wider United Airlines network at Athens, Faro, Naples, Nice, Palermo, Marrakesh, Ponta Delgada, Porto, Shannon, and Venice. ICTS Europe now supports United Airlines across 32 locations in 13 European countries — comprising 13 year-round stations, 17 seasonal stations, and 2 supervision roles.
Ronen Remetz, EVP of ICTS Europe, said: "Four new contracts across four countries in the space of a single month is a reflection of what our teams are capable of. Each new station has its own demands, and opening new offices in Bari and Santiago de Compostela while simultaneously getting operations underway across all four locations is no small undertaking. We are proud of what has been achieved and look forward to building on this with United Airlines across Europe."

Following a competitive bidding process, ICTS Europe has been selected by Alaska Airlines to provide enhanced security services for the carrier’s new European operations from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to Rome Fiumicino, London Heathrow, and Keflavík International Airport.
On April 28, Alaska Airlines commenced daily services to Rome Fiumicino, followed by the launch of year-round operations at Heathrow Airport on May 21 and nonstop seasonal service to Keflavík International Airport one week later. Together, the three routes mark a significant expansion of Alaska Airlines' European footprint, with ICTS Europe proud to support the airline across these new operations.
“A new airline, a new beginning, and that familiar feeling of excitement all over again. Welcome to Alaska Airlines at Fiumicino Airport! Every new start brings fresh energy, new challenges, and the opportunity to raise the bar once more. A TSA Audit conducted on May 12 returned an excellent outcome with no findings — the best possible confirmation of a successful start," said Monica Salomoni, Aviation Manager of ICTS Italy.
Ronen Remetz, EVP of ICTS Europe, said: “We thank Alaska Airlines for this vote of confidence, which is highly appreciated. We look forward to a successful partnership in Europe and to supporting Alaska Airlines in all areas.”

ICTS Portugal has been awarded a three-year contract to provide security services to WestJet at Lisbon and Ponta Delgada. Both are brand-new destinations in WestJet's network, forming part of the carrier's major international expansion for summer 2026. Services at Lisbon commenced in May, with Ponta Delgada following in June, covering document checking and aircraft guarding.
"The arrival of WestJet at Lisbon and Ponta Delgada is an exciting addition to an already busy and rewarding season for ICTS Portugal. We continue to grow our portfolio of airline partners and destinations, and welcoming new carriers to Lisbon, Porto, and the Azores in the same season is something we are genuinely proud of. We could not have done it without the commitment and effort of everyone involved — my sincere thanks to the whole team," said Rui Fernandes, Airlines Operation Manager, ICTS Portugal.
The expansion extends further across Europe, with ICTS UK welcoming WestJet back to Glasgow after a four-year absence. In addition, ICTS Spain started to provide security services for the newly launched service connecting Halifax with Madrid Airport.
Beyond these new additions, ICTS Europe supports WestJet across a wide network of European destinations, with year-round operations at London Gatwick and Paris Charles de Gaulle, complemented by seasonal services at Dublin, London Heathrow, Rome, Edinburgh, Barcelona, and Amsterdam.

DiagNose renews Viaposte contract in Marseille
DiagNose has renewed its contract with Viaposte at Marseille Marignane Airport, effective June 2, 2026 — a partnership that has been in place since 2020. Under the renewed agreement, a dedicated K9 team continues to provide Free Running canine security services six days a week, from Monday evening through to Sunday morning.
Free Running is one of two detection methods developed by DiagNose, an ICTS Europe subsidiary established in 2003. It involves specially trained dogs moving freely or in a semi-directed manner through designated areas to detect explosives. DiagNose's second method, the patented RASCargO system, analyses scents inside containers of between 10 and 120 cubic metres without the need to open them.
This renewal reflects the trust DiagNose continues to build across its network in France, where the company operates approximately 100 canine teams for 34 clients, supported by 128 employees, and a dedicated training centre in Neuvy, where all dogs and handlers are trained by experts with at least 20 years of experience in the field.

On June 5, ICTS Spain provided ad-hoc security services at Santiago de Compostela Airport (SCQ) for the Iberia flight carrying the Spanish National Football Team to Nashville, as La Roja was departing for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the United States.
Later that same day, ICTS Spain also provided security services for the departure of the Iraqi National Football Team on an Omni Air charter flight to Chicago. The two teams had met the day before on June 4 in an international friendly in La Coruña, a World Cup warm-up match.
These operations required swift coordination and preparation to ensure the smooth and secure departure of both delegations — a responsibility the team at SCQ took on with great pride. For the newly established team at SCQ, supporting such high-profile departures so early in their operations made the occasion especially memorable.

PQCT Activities in the Second Quarter of 2026
FREEFLOW, Delta's new passenger pre-screening process represented the PQCT's largest workstream during the second quarter of the year and remains a major focus area.

FREEFLOW, Delta's new passenger pre-screening process represented the PQCT's largest workstream during the second quarter of the year and remains a major focus area. The project encompassed operational design, technology integration, trial management, scheduling and cost planning, extensive coordination with Delta and ICTS Systems, and the review of extensive training and SOP documentation.
Additional efforts included planning and coordinating training for hundreds of security agents and supervisors, numerous technical workshops, and supporting the implementation of FreeFlow at six stations scheduled to go live between June and August, beginning with Frankfurt FRA and Paris CDG.
In late June, Delta oversaw a two-day qualification session in which eight senior ICTS trainers achieved certification to deliver FreeFlow training to both trainers and agents. Shortly after, the first FreeFlow course for security agents was conducted in Frankfurt.
Finally, on the last day of June, FreeFlow went live in Frankfurt, achieving great success and receiving excellent feedback from several senior Delta managers who attended the launch.
TECS CAMPAIGN: The monitored, system wide TECS campaign (the acronym stands for Targeted Enhancement of Catering Security) continued across all ICTS stations in Europe with vigor and is estimated that it will continue for the foreseeable future. In other words, TECS is becoming a deeply rooted element in the overall security culture of ICTS.
PQCT AUDITS:
ESA HQ Paris L2 audit (April)
ESA ESEC REDU Belgium L2 audit (April)
ICTS Security Consultants, Switzerland, Zurich station (May)
ESA ESRIN Italy L2 audit (June)
ESA ESAC Spain L2 audit (June)
ICTS Security Consultants, Switzerland, Geneva station (June)
TRAIN-THE-TRAINER FOR AWS: In the second quarter of the year, the PQCT introduced a new training program for security managers at Amazon Web Services (AWS) data centres in Italy, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and France.
The three-day program debuted in Paris in May and then in Dublin in June. So far, 11 ICTS managers have completed it. A similar program began in London in June with four students, and a fourth session will be held in Milan in July.
The program is grounded in adult learning theory and draws on ICTS Europe's complete training methodology. Through micro-teaching sessions, facilitated feedback, and classroom management exercises, candidates develop the practical skills needed to design, deliver, and evaluate security training while engaging diverse, multicultural teams in high-pressure environments.
SUPPORT FOR SEASONAL STATIONS: The PQCT also dedicated substantial resources during Q2 to supporting many seasonal stations with specific operational requirements arising from their limited operating periods and the relatively high proportion of newly recruited personnel. To better assess and address these needs, the PQCT conducted remote surveys and workshops with the affected subsidiaries, while refining and monitoring the Substitute Supervisor Courses. These efforts were aimed at ensuring the highest standards of security service delivery and supervisory capability across seasonal operations.
FOURTH HR CONFERENCE AND WORKSHOP: The PQCT was represented at the ICTS Europe HR Conference and Workshop in Madrid on June 17th.
The event was under the patronage of an ICTS Europe EVP and was attended by 19 managers from 12 subsidiaries.
Topics included the mid-management training program and its long-term value. The conference and workshops promoted the sharing of implementation lessons, the integration of core management values into management training, and the evaluation of training quality and value.
QUALITY- AND OTHER ISO-CERTIFIED MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS: A PQCT representative supported ICTS Security Consultants, the ICTS subsidiary in Switzerland, during the preparations for- and the performance of an ISO 27001 surveillance audit by the SII, ICTS Europe’s certification body.
The PQCT provided input to the French general security branch, CESG, for their “QBR” quality management meeting with an international data centre operator for the second quarter.
GENERAL AND DATA CENTRE SECURITY: During the month of May, a PQCT member oversaw the coordination of IT services and on-site surveillance-, video- and cyber security operations for a high-profile international gemology event, with contributions from Innovisec, the ICTS cyber security specialists.
A PQCT member coordinated and participated in a penetration testing campaign to enhance preparedness and resilience at a major data centre in France.

ICTS Deutschland supports Delta Air Lines' move to Frankfurt's new T3
Frankfurt Airport's long-awaited Terminal 3 officially opened on April 22, 2026, with flight operations commencing the following day.
The new terminal had been years in the making, with the transition coordinated by Fraport's ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer) team. ICTS Deutschland played an active role in the preparation process — familiarising staff with the new terminal, appointing a dedicated supervisor as liaison with the ORAT team, and participating in dry-run exercises as far back as October 2025.
On May 19, 2026, all Delta Air Lines flights at Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) moved to Terminal 3. After months of planning and preparation, the transition was completed smoothly and successfully.
"The actual move to the brand-new terminal was a milestone moment.
Months of preparation came together on the day, and working alongside Delta Air Lines and all partners involved made it a great success. We are proud to be part of this new chapter at Frankfurt Airport," said Mesut Mujedini, Operations Manager Germany — Airline Security, ICTS Deutschland.

Following are excerpts from a note sent by the TSA following a successful audit held at PRG; “It was a pleasure to meet and work with you and your team last week at PRG.
We greatly appreciate all your support, collaboration, and cooperation to ensure our smooth visit and observations of the AALA operation to PHL (both passenger and cargo). As we discussed at the conclusion of our visit, I'm pleased to inform you there were no findings.
Based on our observations, interviews, and record review, the AALA operation from PRG - PHL meets all required Transportation Security Regulations and security program requirements.
This is clearly a reflection upon AALA's relationships, oversight, and training with ICTS, the PRG Airport Authority, the CZ Civil Aviation Authority, and other relevant stakeholders (e.g., Menzies)…”.

Panagiotis Fistedis, Managing Director of ICTS Spain, sends a tribute to the teams and leaders behind ICTS Spain's United Airlines seasonal operations at Málaga, Santiago de Compostela, Palma de Mallorca, and Bilbao: "The quality of our operations is not measured solely by the standards we achieve, but by the people who build them.
Our relationship with United Airlines at our bases in Málaga, Santiago de Compostela, Palma de Mallorca and Bilbao reflects something that cannot be improvised: a work culture born from commitment, shaped by leadership and consolidated through mutual trust with the client.
Leading these four bases, Leticia Oneale and Georgina Inchausti have proven that operational excellence is, above all, a collective achievement. They have built highly skilled teams, capable of responding with precision to the demands of an airline of United Airlines' calibre, supported by coordinators who are the operational heart of each station.
Leticia and Georgina are, for our entire organisation, a benchmark to follow. Their ability to build solid operations from the ground up, to anticipate client needs and to maintain team cohesion in high-demand environments makes them outstanding references of leadership, commitment and client partnership that truly represent who we are.
At ICTS Spain, this is the standard that inspires us and the path we continue building together, with our teams and with United Airlines."
